We have ample parking on-site for those driving. If you are arriving by public transport, our nearest train station is Berkhamsted or Tring (connections from London Euston) and Ashridge House is a short taxi ride from the station.

Can I buy tickets on the day?

Tickets are currently not available on the day, however please keep an eye on our social media in case this changes.

Is there parking on site?

Yes! We have two car parks; please follow the signs for the visitors’ car park on arrival opposite the main house entrance, or the overflow car park located close to the trail entrance.

Is the Hunt pram and wheelchair friendly?

The Golden Goose Hunt is an event presented in the natural landscape in the gardens and grounds at Ashridge House. Although most parts of the Hunt are accessible, some parts of the garden may not be suitable for all pushchairs and buggies.

Are the chocolatey prizes allergy friendly?

Yes! We have a number of alternatives that are nut and diary free to ensure nobody misses out!

Best of British Car Show

Motor into the Platinum Jubilee Weekend with the Best of British Car Show at Ashridge House!

Join us on Saturday 4th June for a patriotic day of quintessentially British cars of all ages, music and good food, plus a live stream of the royal activities on the big screen. Street vendors will be on site offering a wide variety of delicious food and drink, so this event isn't just a treat for the eyes and ears, but the taste buds too!

The event opens to the public at 11am and closes at 4pm. There is no specific entry time so you're free to attend at your leisure. All that is required is a valid ticket.

Dogs on leads welcome.

Jubilee Dinner & Party

Join us for a patriotic party at Ashridge House!

Celebrate Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee with a 2-course dinner followed by an open-air party in the courtyard! As a former royal residence, Ashridge House is the perfect setting to toast this historic occasion, and you'll do so in style by dining in a spectacular heritage room with a decadent menu carefully curated by our Head Chef, Paul Patterson. Then party the night away from 9pm until late with a band and bar in the courtyard. Dance under the stars and raise a class to Her Majesty The Queen!

Tickets are available for dinner and party, or party only.

Time: Saturday 4th June, 7.30pm – midnight

The Giant Jubilee Picnic

Bring a picnic and be part of history at Ashridge House on Sunday 5th June!

To celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's incredible 70-year reign, Ashridge House is inviting you to feast in the grounds of this former royal residence. You'll also be able to meet Tudor kings and queens, play historic royal games, and dance around the May pole! As if that's not enough, your day will also be accompanied by a band and a live stream of the royal jubilee activities on the big screen!

Whilst you are welcome to bring your own picnic, there will also be a variety of vendors serving a delicious range of food and drink so there's plenty to get your teeth into!
